HARLEM TOWNSHIP DAYS: AUGUST 20-21, 2011
Community is special, and that was very apparent during the Harlem Township Days celebration over the weekend of August 20 and 21. The celebration started with a parade honoring the five community members who are over age ninety and have lived in the township at least seventy years. The rest of the weekend was like the parade – wonderful, and without a hitch except for a brief rainstorm on Sunday. There were many positive comments about the Harlem Township Days weekend organized by the Harlem Township Community Activities Committee.
